Cecil Eugene Snipes, Jr. born in South Carolina is the 5th generation
of professional portrait photographers in the Snipes family. His great,
great, grandfather started Artistic Photography Gallery in Anderson, SC in
the late 1800's. Each successive Snipes generation thereafter has had a
professional photographer.
Cecil is a graduate form the University of South Carolina and Jones College of Jacksonville, Florida.
Among his many credits, Cecil has been a judge in the Fuji Film and national film competitions. In 1988, he was hired by Vice President George Bush to work as a location scout and photographer while Vice President Bush was filming national advertising in Greenville SC for his upcoming presidential campaign.
Yolanda Ceglia-Snipes, is a graduate form Southern Wesleyan University, and was a photographer from New York City. Photography was the common denominator between them when they married in 1992 adding Artistic Photography by Snipes to the families legacy.
